Kunstenfestival Watou 2011 - Tussen taal en beeld verzamelde verhalen #3 09.07.2011 - 11.09.2011

Furthermore our visitors can also enjoy our very much appreciated concept The Wall. This is a storyline that keeps growing thourghout the festival period and that constantly brings together new artists to cooperate on a common work of art for Art Festival Watou. An illustrator or a visual artist together with a writer or poet hereby take up the challenge to create a unique but impermanent work of art on a wall at the Festival House and this in only a few days time. The result is shown to the public during one weekend after which the wall is turned into a blank canvas again for the next duo. With this project this summer ten artist duos will bring you a symbiosis of word and image in a very short time span. They show us the beauty of transcience.

And of course our Festival House (where the festival shop is located as well) will again be a vibrant location for summery coziness and interesting meetings.
